Pony Club Centre Rallies
We now run three Pony Club Centre rallies. One Saturday we have Intermediate Pony Club 9:30 - 12 noon and the Mini Pony Club centre 12:30 - 2:30. On the alternating Saturday we have Novice Pony Club Centre 10 - 12. We introduce beginner / younger children to the Mini Centre. There is the opportunity to move up to Novice and then to Intermediate once the appropriate level has been reached. To join Pony Club, you would need to start with lessons to get to the appropriate level required for each Centre. We strongly advise that once a Pony Club member you keep up with lessons. At these rallies there is a group riding lesson and badge training / testing. We undertake all the Pony Club disciplines including Mounted Games, Pony Riding, Tetrathlon taster days, Dressage, Show Jumping and Training / Testing for Progressive and Efficiency Tests.
We ride in the school and surrounding fields which is where we also have our Picnic rides.
For the Intermediate Pony Club Centre children we run a Tack and Turnout Competition at the rallies. Points at each rally are accumulated and at the end of each fixtures list, we award the Tack and Turnout Trophy.
Every school holidays we run Centre Camp days from 9am to 4pm. The children are involved in the full care of horses including, catching them / mucking out, feeding, grooming, tacking up and riding. We also do Badge Training / Testing at Camp. We have 2 riding lessons and lunch / snacks are included.
